FINISHED MURAL FOR "HOPE FOR HAITI" SHOW

This was the mural that Alex, Krystie and I painted live during the "Hope for Haiti" art show.

Thanks to One Wing Monkey for throwing and curating the event. It was an awesome turnout, and most importantly we held a silent auction for this piece and we managed to make $1000 off of it to donate to Haiti.

This was the first show held at the gallery space to be named later, by the boys at One Wing Monkey. THE MAKING OF QUEEN OF THE DAMNED FOR ETERNAL SHOW

First of all, I apologize for the crappy quality of these shots. They were taken in the lighting of a dungeonesque type room with an iphone and an underwater camera. I will post professional shots of both the paintings as soon as I receive them from the shows professional photogs. Also this painting is not finished in any of these photos. Finished piece will be up soon.

P.S. I know the name of the piece is not that original, but it was the best I can do under such short notice :)

THE MAKING OF THE ZOMBETTES FOR THE ETERNAL SHOW

The Zombettes were a hit at the show. I was doing some research to find the perfect zombie and found a few of one particular girl at a zombie walk in some random city. Anyways, she was a great muse for this painting. Hopefully she will find it one day and appreciate it.

THE ETERNAL RETURN SHOW

Hopefully most of you got to make it out to this show. (Just goes to show what a bad blogger I am, I am posting this after the matter. But it's mostly to document that it happened.) There were about 500 of you at the show so the turnout was overwhelmingly good.

It was an amazing show, and all you guys made it an awesome night. What can I say about the Mattson 2? They are a very talented band and always a crowd pleaser. There will be more shows down the pipeline at the Light Box. We'll make sure to keep you all posted.
